Dr. Scott Griffith is happy to see emergencies after regular office hours. In case of an emergency during regular business hours, if possible please call the hospital at (504) 891-8618 to let our staff know you are coming and what the emergency is so we can be properly prepared to treat your animal's needs. If an emergency occurs after regular business hours, Dr. Griffith can be contacted on his cell phone at (504) 250-1175.

If you get Dr. Griffith's voice mail on his cell phone after hours, in addition to leaving him a voice message, please TEXT him if possible as he may be in the middle of treating a patient. He can more quickly retrieve the text message and respond.

 When leaving a message, please state if your pet is an active patient of our hospital as Dr. Griffith can remotely access your pet's medical record via the internet regardless of his location. (Our medical records are completely computerized, just like today's modern human hospitals) This can be a precious time saver if it relates to a medical condition that we have been treating.
